Three Birthday's
You know your a lucky girl when you get three birthday cakes.
This is the cake I made for Helen for her birthday party here in New York. For my first attempted at a cake I was rather pleased. Helen had never had processed sugar before this cake and I assumed she would love it. I was sadly mistaken. She wanted nothing to do with it.
She loved the candle. well the flame anyway. I had worked with her on blowing so she could blow it out but she had no success.
This is the cake she had from her Grandma and Grandpa Webb. Her cousin Brooks was nice enough to let her have it at his birthday party. She ate a bit more of this cake but still wasn't crazy about it. She did better with the candle. She pretended to blow it out after it was taken off the cake.
This was her last cake at Grandma and Grandaddy Rushers. She loved it and couldn't get enough of it. I had to cut her off because we had it after supper and I was afraid she would get hyper and not go to sleep but she did not. She did much better with this candle. She tried to blow it out but just didn't have enough air.

My Two Front Teeth
Good news! My camera has been fixed! Now I can take pictures and resume blogging. I know everyone has missed my intriguing posts.
So, Helen has been teething for what seems like forever. First she cut her bottom front tooth. Usually both bottom teeth come in together but for some reason Helen only has the one. Then she cut her two upper teeth. I must say that she looks pretty cute with her two teeth. Notice that she has the infamous "Rusher gap". I am hoping that the teeth get closer together with time. However, these are just the baby teeth so hopefully the permeate ones will be gap free!
