Email

Carson thinks not as many people read my blog now that you have to sign in with a password so I've decided to be like my cool sister-in-law and offer to have it emailed to you as well. If you would like that let me know!

Helen and Daddy

Lately Helen has wanted to spend every moment with Carson. He isn't complaining but he feels bad that he was to study and can't spend as much time with her as either of them would like. Any time he opens the door to his study to come out she races towards him and wants him to pick her up. When he returns to his study if Helen isn't distracted then she cries and sits by the door and knocks on it. Needless to say when that happens Carson is very sad. So, here are a few pictures of Helen and her daddy.

Helen loves to help Daddy make his coffee. The splenda is her favorite part.

Wearing Daddy's hat and helping him with all that reading he has.

Our Garden

Carson has been working hard on our garden this summer. It is looking great if you ask me. He has enough baby lettuce to have at least one salad everyday! Our strawberries have been good so far and we have had one head of broccoli that was marvelous. There are also snap peas, yellow beans, soy beans, tomatoes, purple carrots, blue potatoes, green onion, and some other things that have escaped my mind. He also has a large compost pile in the back yard for next years garden.

Zoo

Today we took Helen to the zoo. The Syracuse zoo is definitely not the best zoo I've ever been to (in fact I would say it's the worst), but we had a good time.

Helen loved the monkeys, she even made her monkey noise!

The peacock was a hit as well.

However, her absolute favorite things were the small water fall in the bear cage and the penguins. Unfortunately I did not take a picture of the waterfall but here she is with the penguins.
